Holy Toast

What a pleasant surprise to find this café near where I was staying on Station Road! I was even more amazed to see all 200+ Google reviews were five stars. I decided to give it a try before checkout, and it did not disappoint. The bacon and egg toastie was fantastic — crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, packed with flavour. The flat white was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Thumbs up! Nice indoor and outdoor seatings. Nice service.

Awesome people, delicious food and they always remember you name! It seems like they freshy bake thier banana bread too, its killer stuff. I also tried all thier toasted sandwiches and each one is amazing, frankly its difficult to tell which is my favorite.

We visited Holy Toast after my partner had spoken to the owner, Ben, at a rival sandwich shop in Melbourne … who had recommended we come down. So glad we made the journey as holy toast had a splendid range of tasty toasties - spoilt for choice. Ben was super friendly making an effort with every customer, as were all the staff, who also ensured our water was topped up. We opted for the chilli chicken, the Reuben and the Greek freak with garlic aioli. The Greek freak won us over, with the flavours of the lamb, olive tapenade and garlic perfectly blending. Such indulgent toasties all perfectly cooked - only pointer filling on the Reuben could have given a smidge more pastrami. Overall unreal food game - coffee was also alright! Loved it and would definitely return.

On a dreary winter Saturday, I joined a host of other diners for lunch at Holy Toast. My choice was Mushroom and Garlic Toastie and lactose-free cappuccino. It was a very tasty toasty, which may explain why the venue was quite full. I sat at the window, trying to see what other goodies were in the cabinet, but failing… Visit number two is likely to have me picking something a little extra from there…

Incredible Food and Coffee. Ben and the team are simply the Best. Super friendly superfood and super atmosphere. I would highly recommend Holy Toast to anybody who wants something a little different to the ordinary and let's be honest, it's a toasty. Coffees and Toasties are too die for.

What a gorgeous cafe! Seating at the front and in a courtyard out the back. Delicious toasted sandwiches and a good selection of cakes and drinks. Ben was so attentive and kind. Very enjoyable, would recommend!

5/5 across the board. The food was amazing with the Ruben being my personal favourite. The staff and atmosphere were also 5/5. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I went there for a drink and some breakfast. I ordered a gluten free bacon and egg toastie and they told me because the bread was smaller, they gave me another half a toastie. So thoughtful! I also ordered a bone broth drink which was delicious. My husband had a flat white that was really nice and they had even filled the cup all the way up. The staff there are really friendly and very accommodating.
